What types of events can we book with you?

The Revelry are experts in weddings, engagements, birthdays, baby showers, celebrations, corporate events and more! No matter how big or small your gathering, we would love to bring your event together for you and bring your vision to life!

How do we start planning an event?

Give us a call or drop us an email. The Revelry offer packages depending on how involved you want us to be. That depends on how busy you are in life work, and how much time you want to spend planning and organising your event, or you can outsource that to us. We can manage the entire event, timeline and plan for our clients, and you just turn up on the day, knowing everything is taken care of and you can enjoy your event with your guests! We can liaise with other vendors, bringing you the best options. You set the budget, and we can work within that for you to bring your event, vision and celebration to life. Alternatively, we can hire the items, and you can pick those up from us.

What is the standard hire period for items?

The standard hire period is 3 days – one day for pick up – one day of event, and one day after event. Alternative arrangements can be made on an individual basis if no other bookings exist either side of your event. We have locations in St Heliers and in Pauanui on the Coromandel.

Are The Revelry Hire Items for sale?

No the hire items are for Hire only. Please see Gifts for items for Sale – we sell a collection of candles, soaps, cloths, as well as gifts for the Bride, Hen’s Party, Party favours, and Corporate events. Just ask us, and we can customise / source for your event too.

Do you sell candles to go with the candlesticks?

Yes we sell candles. Just order the matching number of candles, to candlesticks and we will supply these as well.

Do I have to clean glasses?

Please give them a quick rinse in the sink and put them back in the boxes. We sterilise all items for our clients.

Do I have to clean brass candlesticks?

Please remove the candles from the candlesticks. We recommend taking the wax from the side / base of the candlestick.

Where is The Revelry located for pick-up of items?

The Revelry is located in St Heliers, Auckland, and in Pauanui on the Coromandel. Please arrange a pick up time.

Alternative arrangements for delivery can be made on an individual basis.

Do I pay a deposit?

Yes all hire bookings and event planning packages require a 50% deposit.
The final balance is due 30 days prior to the event.

What happens if my event is postponed or cancelled?

We sympathise with you, and are happy to liaise with you and move to your new date if there is availability and no prior booking for your new date.

  • 100% refund – if 6 months out from event
  • 50% refund – if 3 months out from event
  • No refund week of event

What happens if someone breaks an item at our event?

As much as we know people don’t break things on purpose, we charge full replacement value if items are broken.

If the order exceeds $1500 we keep a $500 bond in the event of damage.

How do I book a wedding planner?

To secure the contract, we require a 50% booking deposit.

The final 50% payment is required within 30 days of the event date.
